To share a few things about myself, over the past 15 years, I have worked within the finance and administration departments in a couple of large Australian companies in the Industrial Waste and Energy - Distribution and Transmission industry. I love working in large business and over at least the last 5 years I have noticed the change of scope with corporate policies and procedures with more strength and emphasis on safety, sustainability and local community support.
I’m still learning and earning my way through the ranks, but it is my career goal to one day hold a prominent position among other corporate leaders, discussing strategies that care and respect the environment and support community development, while still delivering shareholders their profitable returns.
I graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Commerce, Award Major; Accounting and Second Major; Marketing. To further my qualifications in accounting i am currently undertaking the Australian Certified Practicing Accounting professional level program as an associate level member working towards advancing to CPA status.
I am also studying my final subject in the Griffith University Master of Marketing program, this course has been one of the most personally rewarding challenges I have ever undertaking. The skills and knowledge set we have developed over the course has changed the way I perceive the world around me, opening my eyes to many things and gaining a deeper understanding of how us as individuals and collectively, work with or against each other.
